Custom widgets arrive in alpha. Build a widget from JSON, a local file, or an API, with your own layout and style.

New

  • Build widgets that show numbers, text, progress bars, lists, or charts. Choose their icons and colors, and what opens when you click them. Start with a ready-made example, share your own template, or copy a widget to another profile. Connection details and credentials stay on your Mac.

Improved

  • Weather follows your location when Use current location is enabled. Manually selected cities stay fixed.
  • Clearer Claude usage connection errors, with background refreshes that avoid repeated Keychain prompts.

Fixed

  • Now Playing shows hours for playback longer than an hour and handles rapid play/pause clicks reliably.
  • Replacement mode keeps the macOS Dock from appearing at the screen edge in fullscreen and restores its settings when turned off.

More AI providers, useful system details, and cleaner popouts. Your Dock stays compact, with better scrolling and window behavior.

New

  • An App Folder widget keeps a group of apps together in your Custom Dock. Choose its name, color, and apps.
  • Optionally show minimized windows in your Custom Dock and click to restore them. Window thumbnails are cached only on your Mac and remain available after restarting Dockset.
  • AI Limits now supports Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, and Antigravity CLI alongside Codex, Claude, and Grok.
  • A separate AI Activity widget shows token history for Today, L7, L30, and MTD. Cursor includes account-wide requests and reported API token costs; Grok shows clearly labeled local session estimates.
  • System Activity adds per-core CPU usage, memory pressure and swap, and a Scan folders action to find large items in your home folder, Applications, and Library. Scans continue when you close the popout. Click a result to reveal it in Finder.
  • Hydration can log when you drink, with optional mL amounts and daily summaries. Configure logging, drink size, and reminders separately. Undo accidental history removals.

  • Clearer widget popouts, with consistent headings and controls, stable tabs, and scrolling when content is taller than the screen.
  • More battery and network details, including available battery condition, power estimates, interfaces, and addresses.
  • More compact widget sizing, a tighter hourly weather preview, and clearer AI period labels without repeated text.
  • Faster popout opening and switching, with stable positioning. Click the same widget again to close it. Weather and Hydration pause decorative animation when idle.
  • Lower background CPU use across multiple desktops and lighter network graphs. Paused Focus and Hydration timers stop redrawing every second, and closing Dock Manager stops its widget preview from updating. Fewer repeated system queries and less pointer work outside the Dock. Running Focus timers no longer keep the Dock continuously redrawing.
  • Choose and order AI providers, select the limit shown in the Dock, and customize which limits appear in the popout.

Fixed

  • Folder popouts close with Escape. Dock scrolling pauses while a popout is open, keeping it beside its item.
  • Horizontal trackpad swipes no longer move or bounce a Dock whose items already fit.
  • Weather location setup continues after the permission prompt, and the Calendar app icon stays on the current date.
  • Less clipped text in compact widgets, clearer chart hover values, and percentage labels that keep multicolor rings unobstructed.
  • Fully charged accessories no longer show a charging indicator when macOS reports both states.

Tighter spacing, optional magnification, and more ways to manage your apps and windows from the Custom Dock.

  • Enable click-to-minimize to minimize a focused app’s window by clicking its Dock icon. Apps in another Space or without focus still open normally.
  • Right-click an app to switch between its open windows or restore a minimized window.
  • Optional magnification enlarges apps under the pointer, with gentler scaling for widgets.
  • Add files to your Custom Dock with image and video previews. Click and hold a folder to browse its contents.

  • Tighter Dock spacing, sharper app icons, and more compact calendar and progress widgets.
  • Smoother resizing and faster hover scrolling. Click a chevron to jump farther.
  • Drag apps across the divider to pin or unpin them.

  • A new first-time walkthrough helps you choose your Dock setup, pick widgets, and preview your Docks before creating them. Replay the tour anytime from About.
  • Select multiple Dock items with Command-click or Shift-click, then move them together.
  • AI Usage adds Grok CLI support and a Claude connection with usage from Claude Desktop when available.

Switch between agents and check sessions, tool calls, and tokens for today, the last 7 or 30 days, or this month. Activity is cached locally for fast range changes and restarts. Better Dock behavior

Fixes a regression that left Custom Docks behind app windows, with better fullscreen support.

Improved

  • New replacement Docks auto-hide by default. Existing visibility preferences are preserved.
  • In fullscreen, hold the pointer at the Dock’s screen edge briefly to reveal it. Dockset takes priority over the macOS Dock in fullscreen; the macOS Dock keeps priority on the desktop.
  • With Accessibility access, expanded app windows leave room for an always-visible Custom Dock. Auto-hide leaves windows unrestricted.
  • Frosted is the default material for new Docks. Existing choices are preserved, and Liquid Glass remains available.

Fixed

  • Custom Docks appear above app windows again.
  • Menus, widget popouts, tooltips, and Settings can open while using a fullscreen app.
  • Fixed clipping in the weather widget.
