In Manage Docks, select a custom profile and open the widget library. Add a widget, then connect its service if needed.
Widgets need a Custom Dock. In Settings → Dock setup, choose Both or Custom Dock + auto-hide macOS Dock, then select your Custom Dock profile. Add widgets to that profile in Manage Docks. Follow the setup steps.
Enable Dockset’s Custom Dock for apps and widgets, or use it as a strip of widgets with no app icons. Widgets can’t be added to Apple’s Dock.
Your macOS Dock stays available, even when auto-hidden. You can make it small and move it to another screen edge, or keep both Docks in the same place. Enable “Hide when macOS Dock appears” to let Dockset move its Dock out of the way.
You can also use Dockset just to save and switch macOS Dock layouts, without enabling a Custom Dock.
First, select Liquid Glass as your Dock’s material and Clear as its glass style. If it still looks solid, check System Settings → Accessibility → Display. Reduce transparency overrides your Dock’s appearance settings, so turn it off to make the Dock transparent. Increase contrast can also change how Liquid Glass looks. Liquid Glass requires macOS 26 or later. See the appearance guide.
Dockset uses its own widgets. Apple’s desktop widgets and WidgetKit extensions aren’t supported.
Native profiles save the pinned apps and spacers in Apple’s Dock. Custom profiles save their own apps, folders, files, links, and widgets.
Switching profiles doesn’t open or close apps or move your windows. In Native profiles, running apps can remain in Apple’s Dock until you quit them. In a custom dock, you can select an app to launch or activate it.
You don’t need a Dockset account. Your layouts stay on your Mac, and you can move them with export and import. Connected widgets use the accounts for the services you choose.
Dockset requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.
